When we saw the «House with Lions», the so-called merchant Beim's house built in 1900, we wanted to emphasize its historical appearance with some contrasting modern solution.
The idea was this: outside — a richly decorated historical facade, and inside — the future.
There was a bank in the room, and all the walls and ceilings were sewn with drywall.
When everything was taken off, inside there is a shabby beauty — the vaulted ceilings in the entrance group are simply maddening.
